  1. Hello all I currently own one 8gb sxs card and a PMW-EX3 which i will be filming a shoot soon with soon which will be shot mostly on slow motion. Is there a way to copy the entire contents of the sxs card onto the 16gb sdhc without having to copy the clips individually? Am I also correct in thinking that this will not alter the original file in any way. Also is it recomended as a freelance camera man to get a contract drawn up with the client particuarly in relation to insurance details etc, as my upcoming job will be my first since film school. Chris
  2. Hi is that the case with the rollers or the one without? As I see the case without has a slightly larger depth, whereas the other has only a couple of cm's gap. Thanks for the response guy's.
  3. Hi I just purchased an EX3 and was hoping someone could recommend me a case and hopefully best place to purchase. Also does anyone know which size Pelican case will fit the camera. Chris
  4. Thanks Dax but it is the Xm3 I am looking for and I'm not so interested in second hand camera's best of luck in the sale though.
  5. Hi Everyone I am currently searching for the Sony PMW-EX3's best price and after shifting through several scam sites have come across what is hopefully a good price from a legit site www.provisualdriect.co.uk. Can anyone please advise on any other legit bargain sites? (The Uk warranty is obviously a big +) Or any other good sites that may top their price? Which at just under £6000 i could be unlikely. Apologies if this is the wrong location to post, I am very new to the site and am still learning its wonderful workings. Thanks all Chris
  6. Hello everyone I am looking to purchase a Sony PMW-EX3 in the coming weeks as a means to shooting a short film possibly leading to a feature shot entirely in the POV format. A similar example can be seen on youtube "Whats in the box" which was shot from the viewpoint of the character, not as a camcorder. (arms were visible within shot) Can anyone offer advice on how this could be acheived with a prosumer camcorder which would obviously be difficult to operate and walk/run at the same time whilst acheiving the look of it being from the characters eyes. I am not overly keen on the idea of using a camera mounted to someones head as I have been unable to find one with a half decent resolution. I hope someone can offer some advice on this it would be much appreciated. Chris
