    DV to Film

The Blair Witch Project was shot on basic video cameras, then printed to film and it looked basically like it was 24fps. It was real washed out and grainy but it still worked... Now i'm thinking, would it be easier to shoot and edit all on video then print to film?

    DV to Film

I was reading about different options and i was wondering: if something is shot on DV, then printed to film, then put back on dv for editing, would this look like crap, is it possible, etc.

May i ask how you could mask this in post?
  4. Hi everyone. I'm new to all of this, so i have a few questions. I have this particular model Bolex, with the exception that mine has a folding crank handle and a separate viewfinder unlike the one pictured below: Here are my questions: 1.Im in the NYC area. Where could i find a motor to use for the camera? The length of each shot is max a minute and a half. I've read that motors are available, but i wouldnt know where to find one or what i'm looking for. 2. Is there a way to look through the lens itself? I've taken the viewfinder off before and by looking into the opening underneath it, i can see into the lens, but the viewfinder is a piece unto itself. is there a viewfinder that works so that it reflects into a viewfinder from the lens? 3. I've also read about ancient 16mm anamorphic prism lenses/anamorphic projectors with a ratio of somethign like 2.66:1. Are those floating around anywhere? I appreaciate the help, -Dave
