  1. you mean cinema negative is different from print negative
  2. i shoot on e6 film and its great to see lot of detail compared to aprint film sometimes.know iknow it depends on lens lighting etc.. but if e6 film is for projecting slides than why is it not a standard motion picture film for porjectingo n screens..arent e6 films hold more detail than anegative...?
  3. yeah lighting is important..but its really the aprture which manipualtes light, so iguess 35mm and 6x7 both are unique and contribuiting to the artist..but i think35mm is bteer than 16mm
  4. thats why its called mamiya 645 :) i guess... but does the lense does the amgic or the film coz, cameras like holga do take good pictures but ti limited by plastic lense
  5. does 65mm film capture more detail and information...
  6. ron frickes movies are 70mm do people din a difference in the visaul quality is a difference between 35mm and 70 visible in tv
  7. does image quality if film dpeend on the size of the film like 35mm or 120,70mm ,in photograhy world 120 film creates higher resolution rpovides used witha good lens,,so is the lens important for film size,is shooting in 70mm any different than 35mm...is 70mm just amedium to blowup for imax or there is ahigher image quality
  8. so ur saying that the film in cinema world is different comapred to photography
  9. but thats what i want to know how does motion pictures film boast boast of good image quality when in negative..does that mean its a different sciene of films in motion films?
  10. yes i ektar 100 is agood film so are other negatives,I have good amzing results with negatives..but pehaps e6 film is alwys part of the pro photogrpahers..atleast in 35mm...maybe the negative technolgy matters like you mentiones the vision technology...kodak didnt think that way earlier...
  11. my can fit in if i have 18mm lens or a zoom
  12. currently ionly have the sunshade not the bellows..is it alirght to shoot the lens open, will it compromise picture qualty....i havea bellow in the old sound recording set which in those days used to be put to record with sound..
  13. waht i meant was the e6 film process is somehwat better..but there a re great negatives too..when u scan the postive holds more detail than negative..
  14. so the photography world is somewhat same yet different comapred to cinema world..nowadays theres lot of good profesional negatives out there..but in photograhy postive seems to have much higher image quality...and then scanning would also matter.. the funny thing is 120film negative resoloution is high so it doesnt matter...but for 35mm if you have agood lense then that can also be afacter in image quality...is it same for 70mm film bigger the print better the resoloution? or its all depends on lens? is it true that mnay details are lost in negative?
