  1. Hi Richard, thanks...yes I know...I'll be reading a lot...I bought the "Don Diego Book" (really great!) and I have all the SMALL FORMAT and Super8 Filmaking magazines....I'm getting crazy with so much informaton..I'm a creative director and photographer that used to shoot super 8 as a hobbie a loonnnnnggggg time ago. Here, all the people we hire are shooting with the RED because the clients does not have big budgets for film anymore and the savings are a 20% more or less. I shoot little things with a Canon Mark 11 but I've reading a lot about the sper 8 wedding business in LA and other places and I think it's a great idea.... I want to try it here (word of mouth at the beginning) to see what happens...people does not get it when I talk about it but when they see something done in Super 8, they just fall in love!!...let see what happens... Saludos and thanks again for your advice!! Carlos
  2. Thanks for your advice!....Merry Chiristmas to all! Carlos :)
  3. Hi Rick, thanks for your response. I'm buying an external 85 filter (probably the 85B) to use with the 500T....I guess that with the Tri-X I can use it as daylight without filter...right? Thanks a lot for your help. Carlos
  4. yeap... I want to use 500T and Tri-X Thanks a lot!
  5. Hi, I'm new to this and to complete...I don't write very good english. I just bought a Canon 814XL-S today and some film. One of thse films was TRI - X. According to camera specifications, it does not handle 200 ASA so I don't know if I should change my order to Plus-X...I want it for daylight I also bought 64T and I want to buy Vision 500 negative film...here again, the camera does not handle the ASA so I was wondering if I can use it or not....a little help will be very appreciated.. Thanks a lot Carlos
