Take a look at this short film that featured only children and was done with no dialogue whatsoever

Why this mincemeat? I must say that I could not see anything like editing out of the pictures' rhythm, development from a given pace outwards. You chop up everything. Why?
anybody can add crossfades and cut scenes on moves and have rhythm… the real question is can you tell a story?
the important thing is my clients keep throwing work, so let it be mincemeat as long as they're bitin'

Great amount of After Effects, but I'm not sure if you did that or if someone put your reel together. So it might be better to say "Editor, Motion Graphics, Colorist" rather than film, doc, etc... Essentially people want to know about your skillset when they hire you. The classifications you use now don't really help as doc people want doc editors, etc... Not having a specialization doesn't really help sell you.
Also, it's my experience with reels that you want to show whole scenes. The flashy overview makes it seem like these are all specs. You can do a montage of logos of brands you've worked with, but then you still need to actually show them.
yeah. none of it was after effects… putting "colorist" is a whole different thing. Simple without overplaying the color correction aspect is just right. things are better left unspoken sometimes

I would love to get some feedback from people on here, I just finished my 2010 demo reel. After 6 months of graduating film school it's been a rough ride in New York but I'm still managing to do big projects. If anyone has any feedback I would love to hear it.
Thank you very much

in Film Stocks & Processing

We shot some key pieces of this short film using super 8mm. It was pretty seamless but helped add to the effect that you were watching someones real home movies:
