  1. I just picked up a modified s16 LTR with 72fps capability, 2 zeiss primes, 2 XTR mags, video-tap, three batteries, adaptors, mattebox, all in a very neat and tidy flight case. 5500$ i would say for the a-minima you could range around the 12k w/ lenses. maybe it'll go for a bit more. it's cheap, but it's just going to drop more i'm afraid.
  2. I have just bought a modified LTR7 with a videotap and two zeiss superspeeds (mk1 12mm 1.2f/s & mk1 25mm 1.2f/s). Everything on the camera looks and works fine, except; In the viewfinder i can see a very noticeable double image - especially when shooting a practical light. I doubt this would be the lenses, since i've checked both, and they both produce the same double imaging (plus i trust zeiss) I want to blame the videotap which was added by Visual Products. I'm not sure how to deflect the beam-splitter so i can check this. Anyone know this Visual Products videotap and how you can deflect it (http://visualproducts.com/storeProductDetail01.asp?productID=741&Cat=11)? At any rate, i really want to believe this is a fixable problem, and just requires some adjustment. i've never ran film through it, so i can't say if the double image is captured on film. Anyone run into this problem? I'm in contact with the seller, but i am so nervous i'm asking everyone i could think of... any help would be very appreciated.
