  1. I'm investigating the idea of using a Storyboard Artist software so I can give potential investors an idea of my film. I work on MacBook Pro. If anyone has any suggestions or experience with Storyboard software I would love to know. They seem to be expensive so I want to make the right investment. Many Thanks Kenny
  2. Do you know where I could read up on it? That's pretty amazing. Best Kenny
  3. Hi All Recently watched Speilberg's War Of The Worlds again starring Tom Cruise. Now there is one scene that I can't figure out how they shot. If you know the film a quick reminder of the scene. Tom Cruise is driving away with his kids on the highway. We see him swerve around cars etc whilst driving and doing a dialog scene. The wholes scene appears to be shot in one take - the camera starts on the hood shooting in at the driver and passenger and then begins it's journey. The camera begins a 360 anti clockwise around the driving car and if that's not enough - it then does an amazing pull out to allow the car to drive off. All in one shot! But of course it couldn't be could it? If you know which scene I mean and have any ideas or knowledge on how it was done I would love to know. Many Thanks Kenny D. London.
  4. Thank you for that. I'm sensing 35mm will be best suited for my project.
  5. By the way -- I have read a lot of people saying use 35mm OR there's no difference but I can't find anywhere what those differences are. That's really what I'm asking. Has any DP out there shot on both 35mm and HD? And also used DI?
  6. I'm in the process of having to make a decision on my format for my 1st feature. Do I shoot on 35mm and go the traditional way OR shoot on 35mm and use DI for post and then back to 35mm OR shoot on HD, probably using the Panavision Genesis and then scan it to 35mm. I'm interested in the pros and cons of 35mm vs HD. What would be the major differences of look, cost, and time? Would love to know your thoughts. Cheers.
  7. Thanks for that - I'm looking into all of them - really helpful
  8. I'm looking to shoot my 1st short and I would love to know what people's preferred choice of camera is from a dream camera to a budget one. I have a tight budget but would love to know your opinions. thanks
