I Managed to get a copy of a book written by Kris Malkiewicz called "CINEMATOGRAPHY" its 2nd Edition. in this book in pg-5 under a subtopic called "Viewing Systems" i read about the shutters role in viewing system in cameras like arriflex & eclair. i want to know how this works in camera, question-1 Will a person operating camera see the frame completely or inbtwn shutter close and open will be scene? Question-2 He said abt a prism inbtwn lens and shutter and it need compensation, how dis works ? i dint understand this because i dont have a picture in mind about have the mechanism of camera could be. KINDLY HELP ME WITH IT.
  2. @Charles MacDonald Thanks for the idea sir! But in my place hardly there is any theatre where still film projection done. they all are using "U.F.O OR CUBE CINEMA" ill keep searching anyhow :) CHEEERS!!!
  3. @Charles MacDonald Sir,only because i read i came to know that there is something called pitch and 35mm pitch-4.75. Then i got confsed what 16mm pitch size would be. thats why posted here :) BUT I ACCEPT WHAT U SAID I MUST DO EVEN MORE RESEARCH MYSELF :) Thanks for the thought sir ill follow :)

Bcos,in 16 mm there is 1r & 2r Film stocks . in 2r 16mm film the answer u gave is not applicable ??? do u mean 1r by saying "16MM Frame only has 1 perf" Dats why i cant undersatnd. “Deepak, you're firing off questions left and right.” Sir, i also know there are stuff available in net. But i prefer it hearing from ppl in simple term thats why i relay on u ppl :)and, i get best answers here from genius technicians :)

  7. Why is 35mm pitch is smaller than the pitch size of 16mm ????? can mathematical calculation behind it or any scientific reason ?

  14. Thanks all of you :) you all really made me understand that its circle of "CONFUSION" :)lol. After reading a bit of that confusing long articles about "Circle of confusion" i happened to watch a film in a cinema hall last evening and i came to a conclusion of exactly "Circle of confusion" means :) i attached a picture in that the rounded areas are "Circle of confusion" am i right ???? "i dint want to get deep into the theory part because it might further confuse me i just wanted to know what is a "Circle of confusion" in a frame thats all :)" THANKS ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR REPLIES FRIENDS :) KINDLY SEE THE PICTURE I POSTED :)
