I have just shot my first short drama in 1080HD using a Panasonic HVX200. Great results but I now want to get better DOF so am looking at buying a 35mm adapter. Can anyone recommend a good one to use. I have been looking at the GT35PRO as it retails at a lower price than the RED and LETUS. Does anyone have any experience of this?

I have a Leicina Super and the drive mechanism goes slower and slower as though the batteries are dead - they're not. Zoom works fine. Anyone know where or how to fix it? I'm in the UK

I am thinking of buying a LETUS 35mm system for my HVX200. Is it vital that it's optimized for this camera? I am relatively new to to filming but really want a good DOF and more film like look to my productions. Are there other systems out there?

Has anyone got any advice on transferring 8mm to 19:6? Is this done in telecine or is it something you do in post in FCP?

Thanks very much for your advice and encouragement. I get quite a lot of negativity when I tell people I intend to shoot Super 8 as well, but I intend to stick with my original plans!

I am about to shoot a low/no budget promo pop video and have decided to use a Panasonic HVX200E for HD and a Canon 1014 AZ for additional Super 8 shots. I want to use TRI X and wanted to know if anyone has any experience and advice on this camera and stock? I am a newcomer to film and need to shoot the film scenes with as much ease as possible.
