Benjamin Davis

My name is Benjamin Davis. I began to have an interest for cinema around the age of seven, seeing beautiful potential for images and shots everywhere. I began to compare what I was making to big movies, seeing what I could pick apart on screen and reproduce at home. It was the miniscule details, working backward from a final image to the specifications of color temperature of the lights to the film processing done. All of these things are a learning mechanism for me to create beautiful images that I can stylize my own way, and hopefully be successful with. The glamorous part of creating a beautiful image is that it will hopefully compliment an even more beautiful story. With my work, I hope to impact an audience and prove to myself that a visual medium such as digital and film can be the starting point towards beauty for anyone who tries.
