  1. yeah, it is a no budget film, so we will have to make up something "homemade". this is the available projector, NEC LT156 3LCD Projector. Do you reckon that it would work? or would you think to use something else? the image quality meant to be quite dirty, grainy, almost out of focus so the quality might not be the issue, but the colour temperature? thanks for your answer, i really appreciate it!
  2. hallo hallo anyone could advise me how to light a rear projection in a studio?and what type of light to use? HMI would work with gels? i will use beta, aiming for a reddish dirty look. it does not meant to look professional! also if you have any advice on how to set up rear projection as i never done it before, i would appreciate it! maybe some one know some secret tricks how to do it in a small studio! thank you thank you dora
  3. Hy guys I am glad that i found this website and ask for help! as often quite difficult to find clear answers through google. and my uni is not too helpful with anything experimental. anyway, my question is: i would like to film a small part of a short film in a small studio. 1. i would like to use back projection and have the actor standing in front of the canvas. What are the techniques to do it, mostly in a reasonably small studio. How does lighting effects the projection, or if there is any tips on the lighting. 2. also referring to lighting in the studio. Trying to achieve a bluish colour but all will be shot with the Beta on vhs. Please let me know if you have any advices on this or on the use of Beta. cheers for that
