The time period of the film is around 2005 - 2006 and the character in the film is supposed to be making the film on a consumer camera or "prosumer" camera.

I'm prepping to shoot a film in the "found footage" genre much like Blair Witch Project, Paranormal Activity, The Last Exorcism and (REC). I was wondering if anyone has any advice and tips on which camera to use in order to shoot the project as it is also an Ultra Low Budget project. I am currently experimenting with the Canon 5D Mark II and the Panasonic HVX-200 but I am also looking for more options in order to facilitate the low lighting conditions of the project. I am looking to light the project with mainly practicals and a few kickers here and there. All help, opinions and suggestions in regards to this topic are welcome. Thanks in advance.

I was wondering if anyone knew what camera the filmmakers used to shoot The Devil Inside (2011) and/or The Last Exorcism (2010)? I tried to look up the technical specs for both these films online and couldn't find any. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
