I actually posed this question to a friend of mine who works for Apple just a few days ago. He said that Apple makes a break out box that will take just about any input and output to firewire. I'll find out more for you if your interested.

I'm new to DVCPRO. I'm upgrading my canon xl-1 to an SDX900 at the end of April...yahooooo!!! I've been loosing sleep just thinking about it...it gets me all wired up. I would like to know an inexpensive place to order DVCPRO50 tapes from. And what brand do people recommend. Thanks for any and all suggestions.
