  1. I AM SHOOTING A 90 MINUTE FEATURE AND I NEED TO KNOW HOW MUCH FILM I NEED TO BUY. WE'RE GOING WITH A 5:1 RATIO AND WE DON'T HAVE VERY MUCH MONEY. THANK YOU
  2. Thanks for the reply David. Your reply, however, leads me to this question: 1. How do I determine the frame rate? Do I throw an arbitrary number out there or is there some logic behind it? Basically, what factors do I take into consideration when determining frame rate? Thanks Again Braindead
  3. I am a first time DP and I need a little advice. I'm using an Arri SR 2 with 7218 vision2 500 speed film. I have a few questions. 1. I know that a fast shutter speed demands a larger aperture to avoid under-exposure, just as a slow shutter speed is offset by a very small aperture to avoid over-exposure. So how do I determine the shutter speed? Which factors should I take into account? 2. Once the shutter speed is set, how do I determine the aperture? 3. Is there a website that I can go to that will tell me what the positives and negatives are of each lens that I intend to use. I have the Arri 10mm, 25mm, 3.5mm, 5.7mm, 50mm ,mm, 75mm, 90mm micro? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
