Hello,
Yesterday I received my Elmo in the mail, but the filter selection knob (switch) is missing from the camera, which I was notified of. This led me to believe that the internal filter was removed but when pressing the notch switch inside the cartridge compartment I heard the filter moving. Is there anyway to tell which fuction is selected before getting my film processed??
Going off my clues I believe tungsten is selected due to the filter that came on the camera. It's not an 85 filter and the camera itself is in mint condition besides this switch missing and there are no marks that suggest it was broken off. So to conclude my Sherlock Homles investagation I would be led to believe and hope that tungsten is selected and that the switch was removed on purpose. With that said I am very confused trying to shoot a test roll.
My second question is if the switch its set to daylight then what could I do other then paying extra to get the interior filter removed competely?
