Hi, I filmed something on my MiniDV camera in NTSC format and was wondering if there was any way to turn it into a PAL final product on DVD. I'm assuming if there's a way, it would be done via the program I'm using to edit? It's Premiere 6.0. Thanks!

Hi, I was wondering if there's anything out there that can play MiniDV tapes and transfer them directly to the computer via firewire? I don't want to use my video camera because I'd like to keep its operation strictly to recording material (less wear on the heads if I cut down to only do one thing rather than record AND playing/transferring.) There must be a small deck of some sort that takes MiniDV tapes and can transfer the video. I got myself a MiniDV tape rewinder to relieve some of the stress on the camera's components and I'd like to see if there's a player that I can use to transfer the video footage rather than using the camera. Thanks!
