Edit,just found out there was a 650w bulb in it :blink: It had huge stains,so I am not sure how it didn't explode on me.

Hi folks! I have grabbed a used Arri 300 Plus from ebay,which was previously used by rental house. After inspecting it I noticed that the black coating on the inside of the top hatch is completely gone. Will this be an issue? light bouncing withing the Fresnel? Or heating problems? And what is the best way to fix it? Thanks a lot!

I am pretty sure I have seen a thread with the answer on this forum. You can achieve it by putting some foil in a container,filling it with water and shining a light into it. Agitate to simulate ripples.

I want a low key lighting smth like noir ,with quite a bit of contrast + baklight and hair light My main concern is that 150w dedos are too low of an output for key light/fill lights.

Hey guys! My first post on this amazing forum! :) I am planning a super short for a film competition. It might be black and white,to limit the problems of colour matching. I have a friend with 3x150w dedo light kit ( might have a photo softbox as well dunno ),another friend with Mark 2. Not much experience between us 3 ;p Any advice of what else and how to use ? Practicals? Natural light? Thanks a lot!
