  1. I just have seen some impressive 4k Videos, made with a Panasonic Lumix G7 and i am blown away. Altought Color Graded, the Images are incredible impressive.

What do you Guys think? For a 600$ Camera, not bad.....

Imagine how it would look if you put a DoP Adapter (Letus) in front...OMG

I think i'm going to get one of these.

  2. as soon as they use the word "item" and NOT the word "camera", my alarm goes off. as they do not even read the add's content they mostly don't even care what it is all about but using a "standard answer" which they use everywhere. thats an indication of a fraud.

be also aware of people RENTING your equippment. they pay the fee but never return the stuff. happened to me with a full moviecam 35mm set worth over 15'000$

  3. Try to achieve a propper DoF with it. Yeah...screewed

Mount it onto a Crane...Yeah, you look like an Idiot :D

I could come up with so many funny Arguments....

Not to mention all my Friends, knowing im a Cinematographer and have a "little bit" of knowledge, aproaching me and try to convince me how "good" they Phone Camera is LOL haha....

  4. not woth it. i had one and beside the fiddling anoyance the result is poor. it DOES improve sharpness a lil bit but not as good as expected. To be honest, normal 8 is waaay better if we're talking "sharpness"

however, go for 16mm. it's cheaper and much better.

  5. Hi all,

I'm looking for a nice Super16 Camera. Please no Kasnogorsk K3. Offers for SR2 or SR3 aprecchiated. SR Cameras can be without Batteries and/or Mags as those are avaiable on the Bay. As i am recovering from a looong (several years) battle from Cancer, please consider a fair price as i am currently on a low budget (living on health insurance)

I could look at E b a y but here is my Family and Family comes first ;)

Also Intresting is a Canon Scoopic. I know...not Super16 but i used to have that Camera and it's an awesome handy Cam.

Any NON Ridiculous Offer is greatly Apprechiated

    Thanks

    Randy

  6. Hi PPL :)

We all know i am a HUGE Defender when it comes to Film Cameras and i am not much into Digital

BUT now i have seen the Sony FDR AX 100 and i am sorely tempted to get this Camera.

For the Price of 2000$ (+/- 100) this 4K camera produces nice pictures.

I only wish it had two XLR's for the sound.

What do you think? I would take the Camera to vacations or so... because it is compact and can be packed in any photocamera bag

    Beautiful Pictures here:

  8.

    :)

Hmmm, I suspect that could be a bit of a fly in the ointment! ;)

Apparently the moviecam compact can also be converted to 3perf too, tho I have to confess I've seen Arri 3perf movements for sale once or twice and moviecam compact movements about never basically.

    Freya

    Freya,

i only know of the moviecam compact mkII being capable of a 3perf conversion. not the first edition i guess. but i could be wrong on this. IF this was possible i would ove to convert mine into a 3 perf.
