  1. I was looking into possible configurations for a future purchase. It seems that an Alexa (used with an ARRIRaw recorder) and some mid range primes like the Schneider Cine Xenar IIIs or the Cooke Mini S4s will cost about the same as a Sony F55 (with the AXS R5) with some Master Primes, Leica Summiluxes or Cooke S4/i primes. Any opinions as to which configuration I should be getting? Thanks.
  2. Thanks guys for all the info! David, might I add the cinematography in "Smash" is probably the best I've seen in episodic TV in years. Did you shoot "Big Sur" mostly with the Ultra Primes and use the Masters for low light shots?
  3. Hi, just wondering if there's any prime sets out there that comes closest to the Primos from Panavision. I'm guessing the Leica Summilux-Cs?
