  1. Hi guys! I finished the trailer for the short-film I am working on with my two partners . This short/film illustrates the noticeable loss of prime values we experiment while we grow older. These elements could be such as creativity, innocence, simplicity… Just taking a look at the synopsis you can make yourself an idea what it will be about: “A man stuck in his ways starts living strange apparitions. This will lead him to find out the answer throughout a complex search where childhood and memory will play key roles.” We try not to be explicit, not to put a sensible narrative, however we try to tell through visual an artistic poetry that ideas I mentioned before. Even you could find some philosophic references! But I don’t want to spoil who will be the author referenced in this short. For the technical aspects this short/film has been carefully thought to be visually attractive now that the narrative is quite close to the abstraction. I played with the illumination and the depth of field a lot, we wanted eye/catching and pleasant shots. Furthermore my partner, who is studying CG in the UK, is currently working hard on some important scenes that will feature VFX stuff. So it will be quite balanced. We work nice as a team. If you like the trailer I would be so pleased if you hit like in our Facebook page(https://www.facebook.com/BorderlessDream) , that way you help us and you keep updated for the final release. Thanks for reading and watching guys!
  2. I see the programme of a institution with diferents centers arround the globe. SAE insitute offers a 2 years BA in Digital Filmmaking. It's a good option? I'm really interested in the campus of Oxford. http://uk.sae.edu/en-gb/course/7600/BABSc_(Hons)_Digital_Film_Making_-_Degree
  3. I'm a begginer in the art of cinematography. Can anyone explain me the difference between the "f" stop and the "t" stop. I read something about that the aperture in "t" stop is more extremely accurate. That is? Greetings,
  4. Hi all! In a couple of years I'll finish my studies in Lighting and photography composition in Barcelona, actualy I'll looking to study outside my country because Spain is the worst place to find work in the film industry. I see diferents programmes relevant with film studies which includes a HND in UK. -Harrow college: HND in Media: Film & TV Production -Met film school: Practical filmmaking -Brighton Film school: Filmmaking -Warwickshire college: HND Digital fim and video -Northampton college: HND Digital Film-Making What do you think about this places? Is a good option do an HND? Once I have finished the HND I would like to do a top up course to acces to the last year of a BA degree. I like the University of Bournemouth to do this. Greetings
  5. Hey guys! I need your opinion, right now I'm doing a shortfilm. In one of the scenes, our protagonist(gary) is working in the office and he looks bad, he is tired of this work, day by day comes to work and feels that their life is a waste of time. In the scene I underexposed the clip and adding a flat look not more contrast and low saturation with the finality to recreate the monotony of the day. I know thats hard to coment about it in a few frames but I need your opinion , what do tou think about the color grading? Sorry for my bad english Cheers
