The music fades away, the lights go down, the dust settles...and whats left are the relationships you've built. Ministry, especially with youth, is about investing everything you have in people, for their sake rather than your own. You may never see a return on many of those investments, but if one thing you've said or done takes root and begins to grow...that is enough to make you grateful for the times you exhaust yourself physically, mentally and emotionally just to pour yourself out.
