  1. I'm wondering if anyone if aware whether the Schneider Optivaron 6-66mm 1.8 from Beaulieu 4008 ZM II Super 8 camera be used with standard C mount digital cameras without any lens mount modifications and whether it might have a vignetting effect on the image.
  2. Would PL mount lens have vignetting issue on an SR2? Could I use an adapter for Bayonet mount to PL to use Zeiss PL Mount CP2 lenses?
  3. What other mount lenses can be used on an Arri SR2 other than its standard B mount?
  4. Can I use C mount lenses on Arri SR2 by way of an adapter? where can I find adapters?
  5. I just purchased an SR2 from e-bay and I am considering converting it to ultra 16mm. Bernie quoted 1150 for the body conversion and 200 each for film magazine conversion.I'm guessing with good glasses, you can't go wrong with an Ultra mod, plus you can always shoot 4;3 if you wanted and the extra resolution available in Super 16, although great, i can't justify the added expenses etc.
  6. Thanks for the insight. The seller just confirmed that B-mount stands for bayonet mount. Now whether the rental film co-op was lazily calling B4 mount as B-mount, that's another story. I doubt it though, since they do have a Arri SR2 to rent and I believe these B mount lenses go with that camera package. I'm actually considering converting it to ultra 16, since it's a more economic route and lenses do not have to be Super 16, so that the already existing Angineux zoom lens can be used plus the zeiss primes when called for. Thanks.
  7. Hi there, I recently bought a SR2 from e-bay with a bayonet mount. I'm wondering whether Bayonet mount and B mount are one and the same since I have access to low rentals of B mount Zeiss prime lenses that I'd like to try out at some point.
