Any trouble with ordering from Orwo North America?
Darren Nemeth replied to Darren Nemeth's topic in Film Stocks & Processing
Havent ordered anything yet. Order from their overseas site, I am told. They answer emails fast and can give info on shipping costs. https://www.fotoimpex.de/shopen/films/foma-fomapan-iso-21100-r-16mm-305-meters-perforated-on-both-sides.html -

If looking for B&W double perf 16mm, or even single, in 100 foot daylight rolls I found that Fomopan makes it. And they answer emails swiftly. -
I have several cameras that I will be filming with soon. All are from the 1920s and have minor scratching off of the black matte paint. Inside the film chamber and in sight of the lens. What is the best product to use to "black out" these shiney blemishes?? I am looking for something I can brush on. No spray paint.

I am looking for something that is readily available. No camera gear stores around here. There is one chain store in the next city but it is all new stuff. Already checked. Anything that is available from eBay or Amazon will be best. Getting something custom made will take too long and out of the question. Only paid $25 or so for the lens.

Hello, I am going to start shooting 16mm using 70 year old and older 16mm equipment and lenses next summer. However, I have one new lens that I would like to use. A Fujian c mount 25mm lens used for closed circuit camera video. The outer diameter of the front of the lens is 32mm. Are there any filter mounts, or filter adapters that can be made to fit on this lens?? New or vintage. It does not matter. Can anyone recommend filters to look at that will fit? To give an idea on the project these will be used with a 1920s Cine Kodak Model B, 1930s Cine Kodak Specials, and Filmo 70 series. Nothing modern.

Any opinions on Som Berthiot C mount lenses with built in eye pieces? How good a picture do they produce?? Someone told me "coke bottle" and didn't explain further. lol But considering I have nonreflex cameras I am interested. Sharp picture? Any bad or good distortions?? What is you over all experiences with this Som Berthiot design. Are they prone to breakage or dirt getting into the lens?

Hello, I was just wondering something. I've been seeing these lenses up on eBay. They are made for video and they are C mount. I was thinking of getting one. Maybe not. What kind of benefits or negatives should I expect if I mouned a cheap lens like this on my 16mm camera? Right now I have a Filmo and a Cine Kodak Special with old angstimat lenses on them. Will the below linked be an improvement or not make a difference? http://www.ebay.com/itm/151757627494?_trksid=p2055359.m1431.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT http://www.ebay.com/itm/151484722343?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT The image for one of them is enticing which makes me ask to see what you think.

I have a 50 or 60 year old 152mm lens made by Kodak. M mount. On it is this knob that can be pulled upward, allowing the lens focus to be turned past "infinity" focusing. Would anyone know what doing this does for focus??
