  1. I highly suggest going for the DVX or PD-170 at that budget. Remember however, if you are planning on shooting in any low light the PD 170 will fail miserably unless you are well equipt with expensive fill light to keep the exposure in check. The DVX is decent but in my opinion, does not give the user enough control over color variables and small exposure adjustments. If you have the time and the means, earn one more thousand, (on ebay perhaps less) and buy an XL 2.
  2. Best Original Films: Blue Velvet and Muholland Drive American Psycho Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind The Nightmare Before Christmas Man Bites Dog. The list could go on and on. Why do these films hold any sort of greatness. They were made 1 to 2 years, the ago: the last time anything relatively compelling original and or classic was released. There are very few exceptions to this rule.
  3. This will probably be the simplist and most embarassing question I will ever ask. I should already know this but how is it that when filming a motion picture, every characters dialogue is on a seperate track. People are always saying that when editing you need multiple tracks for dialogue when I seem to have one. How does this work? Thanks Max
  4. How much all you selling the XL1's for. Would you sell just 1 or is this a package deal. Thanks Max maxmcadams94@hotmail.com
  5. B) Hi all, Does anyone have a directors viewfinder (with a 16:9 aspect ratio among others) that they'd be willing to sell for a variably cheap price? ( I am, at the moment the poorest of poor) Telescopic would be perfered if possible. Thank you very much. Max My email: maxmcadams94@hotmail.com
