I've had an ARRI 100mm head knocking around for years. Whenever I try and research it I can never find any information on it or anything at all similar.
Would love to know more about it such as it's age and history, even its possible value.
Can anyone here shed some light on it? It has "ARRI FL 3" on the side and what looks a serial number of 84/563 under the plate area.
I don't think it's actually fluid based, more a grease/friction system but I may be wrong? It has a nice smooth movement with adjustable resistance in both planes and pulls back to its staring position from various adjustable angles. More than that I do not know!
