This has happened to me once, wherein my computer would read that the media was attached, but it wouldnt "mount". For me it wasn't a card issue, it was a cfast reader problem. If the camera can still read the files, and they're using a lexar cfast reader, i believe that specific reader can be formatted for either a mac or windows in disk utilities therefore making some computers unable to mount the media. The best option would be to try another reader.
