I’ve just bought a canon zoom 518/2 super 8 today. I found an old manual online and used it to find out how to replace the batteries. In the manual it says you can use a screwdriver or coin to twist the bottom of the handle to open the lower battery chamber. Unfortunately on this camera, there isn’t a slit for me to use a tool or coin to do this. Does anyone know if it needs one?
