  1. UPDATES:

-NAC ANAMORPHICS SOLD (still have a 100mm f3.5 spherical back section, and also a front anamorphic block available - ana block needs refurbish.)

    -Canon Super16 Zoom SOLD.

    -Chinese Beijing 608 set SOLD.

STILL HAVE CHINESE ChangChun 18mm and 28mm (28 covers FF 16:9!!!) arriflex mount

STILL HAVE THE RARE LOMO 65/70 format primes; 70OKC4-40-1 and OKC2-100-1. (40mm and 100mm...for 65mm film! will sell for $2k each.)

Also have 3 VERY rare TODD AO 70 primes, for 65/70mm film format!!! A 60mm T2.2, 75mm T2.8, and 100mm T3.5! 60mm and 75mm are from the original ToddAO set designed by Dr. Brian O'Brien! The 100mm came from a later set around maybe a decade or two later (but coatings are similar).  These would have been used on any number of classic Todd AO 70mm Productions over the years...The Sound of Music, Around The World In 80 Days, The Bible, etc...

Asking $4k each for the ToddAO70 glass. They would need to be rehoused...TLS has already rehoused the 60mm once or twice before, and have said they would do the 75mm and 100mm as well.

  2. Buyer still has not paid as they need to sell something first to raise the $ (10.5k)...I'd rather not continue waiting for an indefinite amount of time, so anyone who can come up with $10.5k, it's yours.

DM me for some footage taken with the lens on my Canon C500ii.

  3. 20mm footage below. also, price drop to 12k for the 608 set, or 14k including the 18mm!

Alao...GL Optics will rehouse these. A final note I forgot to mention in the original post; the 50mm is in an odd screw mount that would need to be adapted or rehoused, but the rest are all simple arriflex and super easy to use with PL.

  4. Selling my very rare set of vintage Chinese cine primes...practically unknown in the west. Date to late 1970s.

Entirely unique designs, not copies of existing lenses. Excellent matching coatings which do a great job at supressing flare.

    20, 28, 35, 40, 50, 85mm , all F2.

Also have an 18mm F2.0 made by a different factory, which has golden yellow coatings similar to Kowa Cine Prominars.

Selling the 6 lens set for $15k, and the 18mm for $3k.

    James,

It is indeed hard to find info about those Factory #608's. Are they for super16? What is their sensor coverage?

They're pretty much entirely unknown outsode of China, and even pretty forgotten within China itself thanks to efforts of the government to "forget" things from that era.

They were built with assistance from Zeiss Jena engineers allegedly. They were designed for S35...the 85mm completely covers FF/Vistavision. Excellent coatings that match quite well.

  6. NAC Anamorphic primes sold, Canon S16 zoom sold.

CineMobile 40mm T1.1 and Lomo 65/70 format 40mm and 100mm all still available.

    Also now available:

Zeiss S16 Superspeed 16mm T1.3 (Arri B-mount with PL adapter). Glass in excellent shape, focus and iris turn without issue. $1100

Also have a VERY rare set of vintage Chinese "Great Wall" cinema primes, from the late 1970s. Produced by state-run Communist China factory , "Factory 608". They are excellent little lenses, matching glass and coatings; coatings are quite good, beautiful color flaring and consistency. They are all entirely unique designs, NOT copies of Cooke/Zeiss/etc. Almost entirely unknown in the western world, a true undiscovered/forgotten vintage cine lens set...very few sets produced, very high quality as they were intended to compete with the best the Western World could offer at the time (Speed Panchros, Zeiss Standard Speeds).

Set comprises 20/28/35/40/50/85mm. All Arriflex mount except for the 50mm, all with simple PL adapters. Usable as is for a super compact gimbal or drone lens (though youll of course want to add focus gears)...or get GL Optics to rehouse them.

Also have an 18mm F2.0 (arriflex with PL adapter) that is from the same era (late 1970s) but was actually made by a different factory which had their own unqiue designs. This one has beautiful golden amber coatings very much like Kowa Cine Prominar sphericals. Could be used to supplement the Beijing 608 set, or perhaps even Kowas!

$14k for the Beijing 608 set; $2,600 for the 18mm.

Finally...I also have a 20mm Kowa Cine Prominar T2.6 with glass in VERY nice condition. PL mount. Reluctant to sell but would let go for right price, so if anyone has a set missing a 20mm (or you know someone), hit me up ?
