TechnoVision TechnoHead Mark II geared head S/N 1362 in excellent condition. $5,500 OBO. This is an ex-Clairmont Camera/Los Angeles rental. I bought it in 2009 from Ken Rich at The Power Broker through Transylvania Film and TV in North Hollywood CA to use as a practice head for remotely operated camera car heads. It’s was fully serviced (C/L/A and 3 new bearings) on 4/3/24 by George Haber at Transylvania. Sale includes a copy of the original purchase and service receipts. The head has a pair of 3-speed gearboxes—one each for pan and tilt—and a tilt plate with a detachable riser and a front box support. It has a standard flat Mitchell tripod mount with threaded locking ring. Includes the original Clairmont Excalibur heavy-duty shipping case. Head weight with the wheels, riser and front box is 62 lbs, the case is 34 lbs. Case dimensions are 23”x19”x16”. Selling to lower-48 USA only. I purchased this head and tripod new in 2006 from Abel CineTech in Burbank, CA. It has been very lightly used, is super-clean with only very light signs of wear and everything works as-new. The latest version of this tripod and head, the Sachtler Video 18 S2 with ENG 2 CF legs, sells for about $10K + tax, the TuffPak case lists for another $460. Asking $6,500 OBO plus shipping. Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what this small coiled wire is. It's at the camera connector end of an Arri 16 S/B power cord. I'm thinking it may be some kind of ground wire, possibly for grounding an AC motor. Thanks! -Fran
