Hi i just received a arri 35-3 (I think first generation) purchased from ebay. The camera looks good but it doesn´t work. I replace the 15A fuse but don´t work (the fuse work) I plug a standard 12v. 4Ah battery with XLR4 plug. I´m not familiar with this cam but I think that it uses standard XLR4 batteries. I´m afraid about to purchase a "beautiful anchor" what do you think about this problem? Do you can recommend me a good company in Europe for repair and overhaul? Thanks

I sell an Aaton S16 LTR7 camera for 3000 $ with one mag + handgrip. The camera runs up to 54 fps. like aatons LTR54. Aaton LTR7 S16 camera is for my taste the best and valuable s16 camera in a range from 3-5K. An ACL converted to s16 or NPR are cameras that are one step down. Arri Sr S16 are much more expensive than Aaton LTR7.

I sell my Aaton LTR7 S16 camera. I purchase it some moths ago as a second camera for a project. The camera runs quiet and all works properly. It was converted to S16. The ground glass is marked to regular 16 but you can see alot of frame around it, so no problem. the camera as a LTR7 has 24/25 fps sync and 6,12,16,18,20,28,32 and 54, yes it runs at 54 fps like aatons LTR54. Hi I was the second high bidder of the this camera the last week. some days after i received a "buy it now". I ask to the seller that I was interested in the cam. The seller gave me the bank account (Russian person I think) I asked to the seller some info and a serial number pic. the seller send me a serial number but it was a pic of other aaton item (i dont know which) I replied that the pic didn´t match with the camera serial number, the seller reply me that he didn´t have any info or pic about this cam... beautiful scam, I´m sure

Hi I will shoot a short film (mostly interiors) in August I´m a owner of a DVX100AE (PAL) and I want to shoot this short film with the SDX900. I plan to mix some DVX shoots (car ext.) and with SDX900. I´m a happy user of Vegas Video and I know that it don´t support DVCPRO 50. Mu questions are the following: - I hear that there is a codec or so called "Raylight" (dvfilm) at this way you can use DVCpro 50 in Vegas. Someone try this codec raylight? - I know that I must rent a DVCpro50 Deck, but can be digitalize into my PC via firewire? I have two 120 GB 7200 IDE hard disk in RAID mode - I´m considering to rent a Panasonic SPX 800 instead a SDX900 and work with P2 cards and save a DVCPRO deck. what do you think? SPX800 and SDX900 are similar in quality images? I know, is a SDX900 forum, but what do you think about Sony PDW 530? are quite similar in quality image? thanks in advance

Hi, I suggest you to go for a Eclair ACL 1.5 or 2 S16. I sold mine (ACL2) for 3000$. You can get one from ebay around 3000 $ but you will have to spend in a overhaul. At your price range (500 $) I think that is the best option. You must to add to the camera some lens (ALC accepts C mount, Nikon 35mm still, Arri bayonet, STD or PL lens with adaptor -a very wide lens option) some filters and a 3x3 or 4x4 matte box. I suggest you Eclair ACL 1.5 or 2, it can accept 400 ft mag, and it has a heavy duty motor with 24 and 25 sync and up to 72 fps. If you can afford a Aaton LTR7 go for it but the final package will be more expensive than 5000$ good luck
