"What tools are there to downconvert or redner to DV file? How do I do all of that?" Hello Having never used Adobe Premiere Pro, I can only guess at how you would do this. Try opening an regular SD timeline and importing your HD sequence into it. Then render it out. That should work , well at least it works in FCP. Or try consualting Adobe directly. Hope that helps.

Hello I am intrested in getting some feed back on HDV cameras. I am planning to buy one in the near future for low budget indie movies. I have used the Sony HVR-Z1U over the past year and have notice exposure problems along with other things so I know that I do not want to buy one of those. Primarily the camera that I am intrested in are the Panasonic AG-HVX200 and Canon XL H1. If any one who has used these camera's could share any pros/cons with me I would be very greatful. Hi I was wondering if someone could recomend a good book on Lighting for Electronic Cinematography. I'm a 3rd Year Television Student so I'm looking for something more tecy than basic 3 point lighting set ups, but also something that won't be totaly be over my head. I've heard good things about "Lighting for Film and Electronic Cinematography" by Dave Viera but want to know if there are some other options I should consiter. I would grateful for any help you pros could give me. Thanks Troy
