I just bought a magiqcam rig from animagique. I have a Panasonic AGDVX100A camera which weighs in about 4 pds. I don't yet have the monitor or it's battery, so I'm using it as is. I'm trying to counter the weight balance but I stil can't get that super steady shot I want. Any ideas?

ok, there's a kit including an omni light, a tota, and a pro - light. i've worked before with the omni light and the tota, but not the pro - light. it sell for almost 800 at b & h. any thought on that smaller pro - light.

Whats a good affordable lighting kit (tungsten) for the panasonic AGDVX 100A. I'm doing a skateboarding documentary with a lot of indoor interviews. thanks

Camera is working fine. Digital capturing is fine and and playback in the camera is perfect. I cleaned the heads using a digital head cleaner. When I connect the RCA cables to the tv or the vcr from, the image goes crazy and unstable. I tried changing the cables, the vcr an the tv, but the images still look bad. Otherwise camera is shooting perfectly. What could be causing this? I've also been using the camera for viewing and logging my clips maybe too much since I don't have a mini dv player. This is not recommended right?

I think it's the white balance. I did white balance correction on both A and B memory switches and color was corrected. Other than that I haven't used a monitor for reference. Still in the PRST position it still looks a little blueish. Thanks.

Just bought a dvx100a. It was working fine. It's still working fine, but when I turn the power on and open the screen everything looks kind of blue. If I move the scene file, everything still looks blue. I correct the white balance and it still looks blue. When I push the Auto SW, it goes back to looking normal and I also have to work with the color temp to get look I want. If I turn the camera off, it goes back to looking blue? Does anybody know how I can fix this? :(
