I work at a tv studio, and we are looking to do something creative for a special we will air in December. I remember watching an awards show a while back and noticing a really great way in which they had the light so everything looked as if it was in Black and White.... until they randomly changed certain area's lighting cues and it became color. It was a really neat effect, and I was looking to try and do something the same way. Is it just using grey-toned gels? Looking for any trick necessary to help pull this off.
BTW Love the site.... I lose hours at a time browsing other's questions and reading the insightful and helpful answers.... good job guys.
