  1. Hey, I am shooting a tv show with many vfx elements, green screens, cg, duplications etc mixed with standard narrative drama. We are using an alexa mini and have only one camera available due to budget. The vfx house feel a test we shot (on raw and 3.2k pro res 4444xq) is too noisy-especially the blue channel- and they arent getting enough sharpness from the pixels (not a lens issue). The test was perfectly exposed and shot on 800 asa in studio conditions. I know the arri introduce a filmic grain into their image but I havent heard any complaints before this. Has anyone had any shared experiences? many thanks, conor
