  1. Has anyone tried making their own external power source for a Bauer 715? I recently rolled the dice on a relatively inexpensive Bauer 715 and the good news is that it does run. ...The bad news is that it only runs if I hold the battery compartment in the perfect position. One problem is that the white plastic "battery housing" or battery holder is missing so the batteries move around quite easily. I may have at least temporarily conquered that with some tape. Anyone familiar with Bauer 715 probably already knows that the lid for the battery compartment is broken and won't sta
