Our first HMI is now in production following 2 years of testing. During that time the unit started life in Los Angeles and has flown to London, Dubai, back to Los Angeles, Singapore, Mumbai and Moscow from memory. It has done numerous trade shows where it was turned on at 9am and off at 6pm. In all those travels and many hours of use it has only used 1 lamp and is still running on the second. Platinum Blonde - a 1.2kW HMI in a traditional Blonde housing. Lots of light output in a very light weight housing - great for bounce or punching through a silk. Uses a standard ARRI connector so your exisiting 1.2kW ballasts will most likely work with it.
