I really like the work of Todd Haynes especially "Far from Heaven" and "Superstar: The Karen Carpenter Story" so I was drawn to watching this interview with Ed Lachman about his work with Todd Haynes (and also some other directors). It turned out to be really worth watching and I recommend that if you are interested in cinematography (Why else come here?**) then you should watch it too, as I think you will also find that you get something out of it, perhaps even something different to what I did?

**Okay some of you probably come here for the witty banter from other cinematographers and uplifting tales from Phil Rhodes about the hard life at the face of the coal seams of what remains of the British Film Industry but you may get something from this video too and if not it should be easy to follow it up with another YouTube Video featuring DJ kittens instead. So do try it out.
