Hi, I'm fairly new to this forum so hopefully, I'm writing this query in the right place. For my dissertation, I completed a test using Dedolight DLH4's (The 3 head kit) and I used the dimmer switch to adjust the intensity of the light. I was wondering what the dots represent on the dimmer switch? I've attached an image below for reference. I was hoping to find a numerical value as so far my research has only found this indicating 'dimming from minimum to maximum'. Any information or guesses are greatly appreciated and hopefully, someone can shed some light on this!! Thank you.
We sell dimmers for incandescent lamps, 3 different models. The smallest one up to 3kW (able to work with an Studio 3000W) The bigger one (at the moment) is up to 7kW with double output. 16A + 32A plugs and the dimmer works with two lamps at the same time (up to 5kW + 2kW lamps) The Flicker Dimmer is up to 3kW and it has the capability to generate flicker for special effects The small dimmer cost £99, for more info you can check it in the website www.strikedimmers.com
Hey all- Sometimes whilst reading AC I'll find that gaffers on bigger sets put together sweet wireless iPhone-controlled DMX systems. Have any of you done this yourselves, on smaller budgets or for smaller sets? I think it would be really cool to have at my disposal. Here's a post I just put together on my website about it: http://robertboscacci.com/2014/02/11/dmx/ Let me know if I'm just wasting my time/money. -Rob
