Andy Yeomans
When importing and downconverting my HD footage to regular DV, what is the final resolution for the image? I have an HDR-FX1. Thanks Andy Yeomans

Andy Yeomans
Thanks, that's great information! But I guess I was looking for the actual final resolution of the data after the down conversion from 1920X1080. Or maybe the resolution of the chip after the down conversion (1.12 million pixels to ?). I'm just really curious to know. Premium Member Walter Graff Posted April 15, 2007 Premium Member Share Posted April 15, 2007 720x480 is just that. Down convert and that is what you get.

Matt Sandstrom
to make things even clearer, dv is *always* 720x480/576 no matter what converted from, shot on, telecined from and so on. /matt
