Brentt Posted January 20, 2005 Share Posted January 20, 2005 Powers up fine but I can't get it to recognize the tape. I get the red flashing light indicating No tape or a tape problem. I can't get the tape to playback or write. I also can not get the tape to re-wind or fast forward. Basically none of the top buttons work. I've checked to make sure the buttons are un-locked. DD McKellar Posted March 19, 2005 Share Posted March 19, 2005 This might sound obvious, but did you make sure that you pushed in the "inner" tape compartment before closing the outer one? If you put the tape in and then only close the outer compartment cover, then it can't recognize the tape. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
