Chris Lee
Can DSLRs be adjusted to shoot scenes similar to the flat look from movies of the 70s - like Shampoo, The Passenger, Chinatown, Five Easy Pieces, Bonnie and Clyde? Any examples? DSLRs tend to give a plasticy and enhanced image. I'd like to shoot a short in the style of those 70s movie: flat, pastel, and faded. Premium Member Phil Rhodes Posted August 7, 2011 Premium Member Share Posted August 7, 2011 The usual, working from the thing the light is hitting all the way into the camera: - Production design - Lighting - Filtration - Camera setup - Grading Sorry to sound glib, but that's all it is really. Notice camera setup is only one of those things. P
