Grading in P3 with a monitor

Recommended Posts

Has anyone used the Panasonic Panasonic TH-42BT300U 42" monitor to grade a film in P3 for eventual DCP delivery?

I've graded on a Panasonic plasma in sRGB then converted to P3 for DCP delivery. Worked fine for DCP and conversion to film negative. Make sure you can work in floating point to protect your highlights for the film out if you're going that route also. It's a good idea to check your conversion on a P3 projector to see if you want to make some global correction though for the final render.
