16mm anamorphic lenses

I have looked in the archives for a more in depth expanation of how one can go about using anamorphic lenses with standard 16mm cameras, but I haven't been able to find it. Can someone point me in the right direction, or inform me themselves?

Like I said, get a 16mm camera with a PL-mount, since most non-Panavision anamorphic lenses have a PL-mount. Clairmont Cameras in L.A., for example, has an extensive collection of PL-mount anamorphic lenses.
