Hello.

I thought it worth pointing out that Matt Field at PAG just sent me a replacement display for an AR124PLD charger that is comfortably fifteen years old went out of manufacture ten years ago.

No fee was levied either for the component or for shipping.

Naturally, we shouldn't expect this to be entirely normal; they probably don't have every part for every charger ever made and they're fully entitled to charge for out-of-warranty repairs.

Still, such are the incidental benefits of buying real gear, and I thought it was worth recording.
