Scot McPhie
We did our final filming on Hold Me Tight last weekend - this included a fairly big set we built. Frame grabs are here (this is all HDV): http://www.mango-a-gogo.com/hold/stills3.htm and pics of the set building are here: http://www.mango-a-gogo.com/hold/bts4.htm Now for the editing :-) Scot

Scot McPhie
mmmmmmm......good luck....looks good. All best. Well guess what - finally finished and out now on DVD. This is the film some of you might remember started on 16mm a few years ago and then our 200ft magazine carked it and we had to start again on the evil HDV - but the end result was pretty good. A distribution deal is going to be signed in the next few days too, so things are looking really good! The distribution is with a company that specialises in selling it to libraries and schools - so in the mean time I'm allowed to sell it to friends and other film makers etc -- hence check this link to hit the Paypal buy it now button! http://www.geocities.com/scotmcphie/index.html (I'm having issues with my hosting at the moment so it's not on my main page just yet -- they backed up their files and lost my log in details GRRRR!) Anyway the contents of the DVD are: Hold Me Tight - letterboxed version - 32 minutes (with optional commentary by Scot McPhie and Elisa Lago) Hold Me Tight - widescreen version - 32 minutes (with optional commentary by Scot McPhie and Elisa Lago) Making of discussion - 32 minutes Out takes Hold Me Tight short version - letterboxed - 22 minutes Hold Me Tight extended rough cut - widescreen version - 37 minutes (with optional commentary by Scot McPhie) Previews of In My Image, Sleeping On Her Couch and Hold Me Tight DVD ROM component - the web page of the film Test patterns to calibrate your TV There's a few easter eggs on it as well - and it's a great feeling to finally have it done and out there. The disc is region free and PAL - AU$35 incl postage for in Australia - and an extra AU$5 for postage overseas. Sorry but there'll probably be no NTSC version - but anyone in the USA or Japan could play it on your computers (it is region free) Look forward to any feedback you'd like to throw my way too - I think it's a significant improvement over In My Image All the best Scot

Scot McPhie
Okay owing to popular demand (alright - one person) I've done an NTSC version as well: Hold Me Tight - letterboxed version - 32 minutes Hold Me Tight - widescreen version - 32 minutes Making of discussion - 32 minutes Out takes Previews of In My Image, Sleeping On Her Couch and Hold Me Tight DVD ROM component - the web page of the film Test patterns to calibrate your TV It's region free and AU$40 which includes postage to anywhere in the world. There's a buy it now button on my web page for it as well. Scot Edited July 18, 2008 by Scot McPhie
