GeorgeSelinsky
Well done. Now if only there was an efficient and affordable telecine device that filmmakers could own to do transfers, like the workprinter, that would be great (I still don't know how the Workprinter is able to deal with color negative and deal with the color mask correctly). I'm really hoping some innovators out there will get the signal and start working! - G.
Premium Member John Pytlak RIP Posted May 7, 2004 Author Premium Member Share Posted May 7, 2004 Maybe a good starting point would be getting a used Kodak Videoplayer VP-1, which was a deck that transferred Super-8 to video with a flying spot scanner: B) http://www.8mm.filmshooting.com/scripts/us...tography.super8
Nate Downes
Ya know, I wish that they made higher-bit-depth CCD's. 8-bits per color is not enough for a lot of the work I'm doing.
Jo Laurits Aksdal
A friend of mine just bought a Bauer c107xl for 10 bucks. It has a manuel aparture function. But for the auto exposure we can't seem to find an iso setting. Is it just set to 40 ISO?
Matt Wells
The ASA is set by the notches in the cartridge. Matt

bouncybabybucket
Yeah!!! That's fantastic!! Kodak is my new best friend. John, can you advise me where I can buy Kodak Vision2 500T from? I live in Northern Ireland, it's very difficult to get Super 8 films here. The only place I can buy them is through the camera store Jessops. Any help would be muchly appreciated.
