joewflynn
I just got off the phone with a line producer who's getting me work as a PA in the camera department on a music video next week. She said they were using a camera called an "A-camera" made by Arri, that takes especially small loads. I had never heard about it. And I can't seem to find anything about it. Was she talking out her a**(camera)? And if not, what's the deal with this camera? Thanks!
Premium Member Brad Grimmett Posted December 7, 2005 Premium Member Share Posted December 7, 2005 (edited) She was probably talking about this a-cam. It's not made by Arri though. Edited December 7, 2005 by grimmett
Premium Member Adam Frisch FSF Posted December 7, 2005 Premium Member Share Posted December 7, 2005 Or, she could be talking about you working on the A-camera as opposed to the B-camera and that the camera used probably (from the description) is an Arri 235.... Premium Member Laurent Andrieux Posted December 7, 2005 Premium Member Share Posted December 7, 2005 boy yniguez> you mean the Aaton A-minima, yes it could be that, just as well. Look, a line producer usaually knows not much about these technical details, ask the phone number of a technician camera of the crew and ask him or her exactly what it is... The deal ? she knows how much you'll get, no more...
