Will Novy
In a dv expo video I saw not too long ago, one company documenting the expo said they just got done seeing the HVX200 and HVX400. I tried to research this online, but never could find a HVX400. I think it was a typographical error, but I was wondering if anyone else has heard of it. Premium Member Nathan Milford Posted January 19, 2006 Premium Member Share Posted January 19, 2006 They probably mean the HDX400 which uses DVCPROHD tape stock to capture 1080i. It's cheaper than the Varicam, mostly because it only does interlace. It's marketed more for sports and broadcast.
