Ram Shani Posted June 1, 2004 Share Posted June 1, 2004 hi Im about to shot a short film in 16mm that most of it is night and the director want to go for the grainsh look like in the films of wong kar-wai (chanking express etc...) i was thinking of using the vision500 and push it one stop and then over exsposed it a 1/3 of a stop. what you guy's think ram Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you want more grain, I would not overexpose. With a 500T stock, test at push-1 and rate the film at EI 1000T, and I think you will come close to the "look" you want.
