In my limited knowledge of HD, I'm curious where I could find someone to speak with about the Varicam package and ALL accessories I would need to go forward with a purchase. Cables, batts, cases, baseplates, lenses, etc. I don't know how many of our current Digi and SP accessories will "crossover" to HD. Any suggestions on where to call? Premium Member Phil Rhodes Posted May 4, 2006 Premium Member Share Posted May 4, 2006 Hi, Everything except the body, lens and monitoring should cross over - although that really means all you get to keep is the battery system, camera support equipment and cables. You could in theory even put any 2/3" lens on a Varicam, although really it ought to be an HD-rated type.
